Meet Our Founder, Dr. Marc Dauer

Dr. Marc Dauer, M.D., is a leading expert in hair restoration with over 30 years of experience in preventing and treating hair loss. He has performed over 10,000 hair transplant procedures. After experiencing early hair thinning himself, he dedicated his career to developing science-backed, long-term solutions for hair loss—culminating in Hair Defense®, a proprietary system designed to protect and strengthen hair before thinning begins.

A graduate of New York Medical College, Dr. Dauer trained at UCLA Medical Center in Head and Neck Surgery before specializing in Hair Restoration and Transplantation. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, and a faculty member at the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
